ICICI bank is the largest recruiter in the private banking sector in our country. When it comes to recruitment of probationary officers in the private banking sector no other bank would stand a chance against ICICI bank which released it’s probationary officer recruitment program for the November 2011 batch yesterday. This certainly doesn’t mean that other private sector banks never recruit officers

Job description:

Probationary Officers are equivalent to an asst. manager. A probationary period varies depending on individual banks. {Learn about the probationary period for officers in various banks} The candidates, after the confirmation, are posted either as an asst. manager or a manager in various branches of the bank. As for ICICI Bank, the candidates shortlisted from written exam are made to complete MBA degree from Manipal University after which they are allowed for training. Finally they are posted as Asst. managers with an annual income of more than 4 lacs.

Important Dates:

Online applications can be submitted till 27/06/2011. Unlike public sector banks, where there is a gap of 2-3 months between the last date for applying online and the written examination, ICICI bank has proposed to hold the written exams in July itself.  What’s more is that the written exam results will be announced in the subsequent month and interview/GD will be over in that month itself. Superb right ?

Working Environment:
